Mirachoro Carvoeiro
One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in! Staff cleaning and polishing all day everyday. Toilets in public areas were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was top notch with a wide range of freshly prepared items. Bar prices were very reasonable and the snacks we had were freshly prepared and very nice making it an attractive proposition to stay by the pool all day. That said there are so many nice restaurants close by it would be a shame not to venture out and try everything that's on offer. For us the short walk into town and its beach was pleasurable but I can imagine is you're less mobile it would be quite challenging especially the uphill journey back.

The staff were very efficient and friendly; the breakfast was superb and especially the selection of super ripe fruit; freshly baked breads and a very tasty hot selection; very relaxed and on til 11 which actually I find really good as I prefer brunch. The Location of the Hotel is perfect and although half way up a hill is very well placed for Bars and Restaurants. My 3rd time here and will be back, oh I also enjoyed the pool menu which saved heading off site, although there were a few great restaurants within a couple of hundred yards. The food available was exceptional, breakfast buffet extensive and bar food very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were a great size. The location was superb, close to everything and they had parking facilities which is difficult so close to the town centre and restaurants, so you could walk everywhere. The pool was fabulous and had a bar and shaded area to sit, there was no need to even leave the venue.

During the blackout of April 28, 2025, the hotel had electricity, wifi and air conditioning in every room while the town was at a standstill. The pool area is very nice. The staff was outstanding except for one grouch at the reception area. Great location close to everything in town and in the Algarve region. Would stay here again.

Really lovely hotel, the location is fantastic, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms really clean with really comfortable beds and the breakfast was delicious also the pool area is really lovely and clean with a bar serving snacks and drinks all day and at very reasonable prices, loved it.
