Mirachoro Carvoeiro

One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in! Staff cleaning and polishing all day everyday. Toilets in public areas were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was top notch with a wide range of freshly prepared items. Bar prices were very reasonable and the snacks we had were freshly prepared and very nice making it an attractive proposition to stay by the pool all day. That said there are so many nice restaurants close by it would be a shame not to venture out and try everything that's on offer. For us the short walk into town and its beach was pleasurable but I can imagine is you're less mobile it would be quite challenging especially the uphill journey back.

Read some very mixed reviews but we had a great experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, Carvoeiro is quite a small town and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is very good - everything was fresh and a wide variety available. The food and especially drinks at the pool bar were excellent. Staff were lovely, especially the bar men! Great pool area and a great buzz around.

The staff were very efficient and friendly; the breakfast was superb and especially the selection of super ripe fruit; freshly baked breads and a very tasty hot selection; very relaxed and on til 11 which actually I find really good as I prefer brunch. The Location of the Hotel is perfect and although half way up a hill is very well placed for Bars and Restaurants. My 3rd time here and will be back, oh I also enjoyed the pool menu which saved heading off site, although there were a few great restaurants within a couple of hundred yards. Very friendly staff, lovely bar and pool area, great location

The hotel was clean and was ideally located a short walk away from the square. The pool was clean and had great seats in the pool but it was difficult to get served in the pool. The breakfast was great, with a good choice of fresh food. There’s an amazing choice of restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel.
